Euro Trip

I have returned from a 3 week vacation to Europe. First stop, Romania, which is my home country I went to visit family mostly, rather then do sight seeing. If you dont know to much about this country here is some info:
"Located north of the Balkan Peninsula on the western shores of the Black Sea. It is a country of great natural beauty and diversity and a rich cultural heritage. Romania enchants visitors with its scenic mountain landscapes and unspoilt rural areas, but also with its historic cities and its busy capital."

It was a good feeling being reunited with everyone and I enjoyed that my bf was there with me. Yes I dragged him w/ me. He is actually canadian, of south american decent, and this was a very interesting experience for him.
2 weeks are up.. and now heading to Venezia, Italy.

Hotel was located close to Piazza San Marco, which is a 30 min ferry ride from the airport. Venice is very popular and to have a hotel so close to San Marco was great. Only thing is carrying your suitcases up and down all the bridges you have to cross.. That was the down part.
We visited Murano and Burano. Murano is a series of islands linked by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon. It lies about 1.5 km north of Venice. We took a water-taxi which are free for Murano. It is famous for its glass making, so we visited Murano Art Factory. If you are interested in reading about the Murano glass check it out here
Burano is another island, where the interesting and cool thing is mostly how the houses are built and their bright colours. Literraly I have never seen houses so colourful. Any colour you want, pink, yellow, blue etc.

In all is a beautiful city. Sitting at night at Plaza San Marco, listening to music was magical. Go visit, its a must =D

Last, but not least, Vienna - Austria.

Coming up - Stay tuned for pictures.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation Review

Revlon ColorStay Foundation Combination/Oily skin

Okay guys so this is my first official review. This past week I have been looking everywhere for a good, full coverage foundation and found this one. I can say before buying this foundation I was using Maybelling FIT foundation and that didnt work for my skin at all. I have clear skin, no acnee, but I get oily at times thats the problem.
I was recommended this Revlon ColorStay Foundation by a make up clerk. 2 days into it and I can say its amazing. It has great coverage. It's easy to apply it does stay on ALL DAY.
You can find this at your local drugstore I bought mine @ Shoppers (if  you live in Canada). Its a bit pricey it comes up to $22 but it is totally worth the money.

Rhinoplasty (Night before op)

I have decided to go through with a rhinoplasty operation. Ever since i was about 13 i knew this is what I wanted. It was just a matter of time. Now, 10 years later here I am counting down the hrs. I should be asleep by now, surgery is in 8 hours. I am nervous right now and excited, but more nervous about the whole proceedure. I have never had anything done, never been in hospitals that much. The anesthaesia part is terrifying me. I know i shouldnt be though.
I know in the end it will all be worth it. I just cant get my nerves get the best of me.
I will update more tomorrow post op.

Day of surgery: (Monday)
My mom and boyfriend came with me. Entered the clinic everything looked neat. They told me to change to a gown and come back out and wait for the dr. I was getting extremely nervous, my mom and bf were watching movies on the tv. I couldnt stop moving. Finaly, the dr shows up and takes me in, marks my face and I got to talk to the anesthesiologist for a little. They took me in the operating room, the anesthesiologist tells me what he will do and inserts the IV. He tells me im going to start feeling funny and I remember the feeling, couple secs after i was out. And the next thing I knew im laying down in the recovery room all dizzy not knowing what happend. The nurse tells me to wake up easily i honestly could not. The anesthesia was so strong for me. My surgery was 4 hrs in total but I didnt leave the clinic until 4 30 pm.
Getting home was the worst in the taxi, all I wanted to do was lay down my head was  spinning. Got home took Tylenol3 and was out on and off the whole day. My mom helped me change the gauze still bleeding even know a lilttle.

Sunday:
Feeling pretty good these days with the exception that I am still not able to breath through my nose. Thats the most annoying part of the whole recovery process actually. My mom helped me wash my hair its been a week, yuck, i know. . The yellow bruises under my eyes are gone. Its still swollen but getting better daily. Tomorrow I am getting my splint off, thank god. Excited to see what it looks like without it.
For everyone that is debating a rhinoplasty I say you go for it. If you are thinking about the pain, I can tell you its minimal. I personally havent been taken any pain killers except the first 2 days.
I will update with pictures in a couple weeks. :)
